Yummy Ice Cream Cone Earrings!

I had to make these! I have had all the parts for sometime but had not taken the time to make them. They turned out really cute and remind of the Summer season! They can be found in my Etsy Shop!

Lil Bowtique & Co

Do you have a little girl, granddaughter, sister or friend? Then you will LOVE this site named Lil Bowtique & Co. So many cute things for girls, bows, hats, headbands, socks and flowers. Heather Helton and Jenifer Driscoll are the two talented women who create all these beautiful things. How did I hear about them? From Jeri Bunyard who I met in Mazatlan this year. Her hubby Bill and my hubby Tom play golf together. Jeri had so many wonderful things to say about her daughter and her friend that I wanted to spread the word to those who love to buy pretty things for little girls. Enjoy!

Back from Vacation

Came back from Mazatlan, Mexico just the other day. It was so warm there and today we are covered in snow. This year's trip was a bit different from other years. It was the first year where we experienced clouds and rain. Crazy weather patterns all over. My find this year was the picture in this post. I just over the subject and the colors are glorious. I carried all the way because I did not want it to get broken by the airlines. It will be over the fireplace mantel and fits the room perfectly. LOVE IT!

Angel Wing Necklace

I am in love with mother of pearl. I found these great wings made of carved mop. The wings have a lovely glow and were so fun creating this necklace. The chain is vintage brass with pink glass cats eye beads. I finished off the piece with a few dangles, a flower, leaf and a brass bird. I think it looks romantic and pretty.

Made in Mexico

While on our trip to Mexico I made some REALLY pretty things. I love working with delica beads and all the great colors. Right before we left I found patterns and instructions by Suzanne Cooper for 'really round flat peyote'. What fun I had creating these round medallions and using my own color combinations. The designs are placed on compact mirrors and pillboxes. Great additions to a take along in a purse.
