El Quelite

Today the morning was very very foggy but then blue skies and lots of sunshine. Tom had a pool day and I went on a tour of a little town called El Quelite with a new friend, Lucia. What a pretty town, colorful houses, pretty flowers and good food. Great day!

Hola!

Today is Wed and it is very warm and humid here in Mazatlan Mexico. We went out to a very nice outside resturant for breakfast this morning called Mary's. The pancakes, bacon and breakfast sandwich were outstanding! Tom is out playing golf this afternoon and I'm just hanging out messing with the computer and beading.

Well we finally made it to Mazatlan. We were up at 3am and made it to Mazatlan around 3PM on Sat. LOVE it here sunny and warm. I have a head cold so the flight was rough on my ears. Today is Mon and we are off to a great day.

2009 Craft shows

What a day! Trying to line up craft is very hard work. I sent in a bunch of applications today and hope to get into several shows in NJ. Lots of information and pictures had to be sent in. I hope to be very busy in 2009!

No More Twitter

I could not figure out Twitter and all the 'social networking' stuff is getting out of hand. I need to spend time making things. I think I need to find sites where I can place adds for folks who want to buy handmade things. If anyone is reading this please let me know your suggestions. Bye to Twitter!

Yesterday's FUN Creations

I had so much fun making the most colorful necklaces for Spring and Summer. I used large plastic pendents and glued pretty resin cabochons. But the most fun was making the chains using the most pretty beads. Check out the photo and they are for sale on Etsy.

It's Snowing Again!

It's been a while since I have added to my blog. I was going to post every day! I have been in the process of gearing up for 2009. My resolutions are to get organized, take better care of myself and try to grow my business. So I have been going through closets and cabinets organizing and getting rid of things we do not use. I still have much to do in the basement and my craft room. As for taking better care of myself I have been exercising almost everyday. I feel much much better. I hope to continue. Luckily I have two friends, Helen and Linda, we keep each other motivated. I have been trying to line up craft shows for 2009, so far I am doing well. I am also making new inventory and making new business cards. So much to do!
